ABOUT COURTLAND:
Courtland Farm is breathtakingly beautiful. It has been rated as having the best sunset view in Virginia. The original house was located in our courtyard and used as a safehouse during WWII. Unfortunately, the original, historical structure was torn down. The Manor house was built in 1936. The mansion extension was built in 2006. The entire structure along with the pool house/ Cottage underwent a $4million renovation in 2016.
Historical relics have been mined on the property. Several civil war musket balls have been found. It is believed that confederate regiments camped on our hollowed grounds. We are currently mining for the badge that would identify the regiments.
